EUROPE AND GLOBE was created in 2003 to participate in European projects and programs of international cooperation and development aid.
EUROPE AND GLOBE is fully committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting its clients.

Our Team
Elodie RITZENTHALER
Founder & Consultant
A graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon and the College of Europe, Elodie Ritzenthaler worked for the NGO Première Urgence and at Nestlé France, before joining the MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France), where she was in in charge of subjects related to the enlargement of the EU to CEECs, to EU trade policy, to WTO matters and to the OECD Guidelines.

She was at the origin of the creation of EUROPE AND GLOBE and she develops its activities by bringing its know-how on national and territorial development strategies, trade issues, business climate, sectoral policies and development of the private sector - including financing matters -.

EUROPE AND GLOBE assists administrations of various countries to negotiate, understand and implement multilateral (WTO), regional (AfCFTA, etc.) or bilateral trade agreements (Association Agreements, Economic Partnership Agreements). It also supports countries in defining their trade strategies.
Improvement of the business climate
EUROPE AND GLOBE works on improving the business climate which aims to improve the competitiveness of businesses, simplify administrative procedures and make administrations more efficient - in particular through one-stop shops, transparency, governance and improved public-private dialogue.
Sector development and value chains
EUROPE AND GLOBE carries out numerous studies in order to define the public policies and the most suitable tools to allow the development of value chains and a response adapted to the needs of the market: in order to allow sectors to be more competitive and to create sustainable jobs.

Financing of the private sector
EUROPE AND GLOBE supports the development of the private sector, thanks to a good knowledge of the financial tools available, whether they are micro-credits, bank loans, guarantees, private equity and "impact finance", blending (mixed tools combining specific grants) and available international financing tools (EIB, EU External Investment Plan, etc.).

Green economy & Gender
EUROPE AND GLOBE is fully invested in the issues of sustainability, of environment protection, climate change, and social inclusion. This leads her to get involved in green businesses, the circular economy and for greater participation of women and young people in the economy: she supports public authorities and the private sector on these subjects and helps States and local communities to develop sustainable development strategies.
This is in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal.
